Grand Prix to Feature 93 Corporate and Community Partners

Over 90 Corporate Partners to Participate in This Week’s Racing Festival on the Streets of Detroit

DETROIT, Mich. (May 27, 2025) – Connecting the business community with one of Detroit’s most popular and exciting annual events, the 2025 Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix presented by Lear is set to race through the streets of Downtown Detroit this weekend with the support of 93 local and national corporate partners. It marks the third consecutive year since the Grand Prix returned to Downtown Detroit that the event will feature more than 90 partners.

Nearly matching last year’s record of 94 Grand Prix sponsors, this year’s partnership portfolio reflects both fresh momentum and enduring loyalty. The Grand Prix welcomes 12 new sponsors in 2025, while 20 long-standing partners – some of whom have supported the event since 2013 – continue their commitment to fuel its success. Additionally, 13 sponsors have increased their level of commitment in 2025, further establishing the Grand Prix as a premier platform for impactful, long-term brand collaboration in the Motor City.

“We want to thank all of our amazing partners for their support and their commitment, not only to the Grand Prix, but to Downtown Detroit and the neighborhoods and communities across the city,” said Michael Montri, President of the Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix presented by Lear. “To welcome more than 90 partners to the Grand Prix for the third consecutive year demonstrates the value of this event and how it is part of the fabric of our city. We’re proud of how the Grand Prix brings people together, creates opportunities for local businesses and shines the light on the very best of Detroit to the world."

The Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix presented by Lear continues to deliver for its partners through on-track branding, exposure and activation, a premier hospitality experience for partners and their guests, as well as impactful programs and charitable initiatives that make a positive impact in the neighborhoods and communities across Southeast Michigan and beyond.

Highlighted by the support of General Motors and title sponsor Chevrolet, which helped bring the Grand Prix back to Detroit in 2012, fans will see a strong partner presence throughout the race venue this weekend on the Streets of Downtown Detroit. The distinctive Chevrolet pedestrian bridge over Jefferson Avenue will once again connect Spirit Plaza and Hart Plaza at the Grand Prix and the Chevrolet brand is also featured on the bridges between Turns 8 and 9 on St. Antoine, as well as above the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan Pit Lane on Franklin Street. In Spirit Plaza, the interactive Chevrolet display will highlight the brand’s latest technology and top vehicles, providing fans a hands-on experience with Detroit’s iconic automaker.

Lear Corporation, the global automotive technology leader based in Southfield, Mich., returns as the presenting sponsor of the 2025 Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix, continuing a partnership that began in 2015. Lear’s branding will be featured in Turn 6 near Center Garage, and the company also supports the Detroit Grand Prix Association (DGPA), the event’s official volunteer organization. Founded in 1983, the DGPA is recognized as one of the top volunteer groups in all of sports. Its dedicated members play a vital role in the success of the Grand Prix, helping to create a seamless and memorable experience for fans, teams and partners alike.

Thanks to the generous support of key Community Partners – American Axle & Manufacturing, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, Delta Dental, Delta Airlines, DTE Foundation, Henry Ford Health, Huntington Bank, and PNC Bank – the Grand Prix has significantly expanded its community outreach since returning to Downtown Detroit in 2023. Support from its Community Partners has helped the Grand Prix become one of the most inclusive and welcoming events in Detroit with more than half the venue open and accessible to fans for free all weekend long. With free viewing platforms across the venue and groundbreaking initiatives that benefit local students, community groups and area businesses, the Grand Prix’s Community Partners help foster change and engagement across the city.

With support from many other leading brands and companies, including Priority, Windsor Family Credit Union, Astemo, Kaiser Enterprise, Meijer, Autotrader, Siemens, Citizens and more, the Grand Prix and its partners will continue to help drive Detroit forward this weekend, and into the future.

The Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix presented by Lear will feature thrilling action from the NTT INDYCAR SERIES, IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and INDY NXT by Firestone, along with a festival atmosphere that includes free fan zones, interactive exhibits and live concerts in Campus Martius and Cadillac Square.

The 35th Grand Prix event in the City’s history will return to the 1.7-mile, nine-turn Streets of Downtown Detroit circuit that runs along the award-winning Detroit Riverwalk, May 30-June 1, 2025.
