Media Credential Information

Media credential requests for the 2026 Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix presented by Lear are now being accepted through the new online application portal.

Media members interested in applying for credentials to cover the 36th Grand Prix event in Detroit’s history, please click the appropriate link below to complete and submit the official request form. The deadline to submit all requests is Thursday, May 21, by 11:00 a.m. ET.

Media credentials are for working media only, for the primary purpose of gathering news for the timely coverage of the event. With the expected demand for media credentials, we cannot guarantee that all requests will be approved. Requests must come from an assigning editor, producer or director. Freelance media (photographers, journalists, etc.) must be on a specific assignment from a recognized media organization. Please note that individual social media pages, websites, or accounts managed by freelancers for profit do not qualify as media organizations.

To be considered for media credentials, please complete all required fields and submit your application online no later than Thursday, May 21, by 11:00 a.m. ET. All requests will be reviewed and applicants will be notified of the status of their application.
