Youth enrichment at the Detroit Grand Prix

Youth Enrichment

Detroit Grand Prix’s ongoing partnership with the Detroit Grand Prix and Boys & Girls Club of Southeastern Michigan, (BGCSM) we support year-round youth engagement and career development through paid internships.

Through this program, students gain behind-the-scenes access, participate in events like the Detroit Auto Show, and take part in immersive experiences leading up to and during race weekend.

Youth develop their careers

Career Development

The Correspondent Industry Club gives BGCSM students exposure to careers in broadcast journalism, social media, public relations, and marketing through motorsports. Students receive hands-on training and mentorship from industry professionals, including experts from Fox 2 Detroit. The program helps participants build skills and explore career paths in media arts and communications.
