Detroit GP Traffic Updates
Pedestrian bridges over Jefferson Ave. and Bates Street will be installed this weekend in preparation for the 2026 Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix presented by Lear
Below is the roadway schedule associated with the bridge installations:
Jefferson Ave. Pedestrian Bridge installation Friday, May 8th at 7pm through Monday, May 11th at 5am
Road closures beginning at 7pm May 8th and ending at 5am on May 11th
SB M-10 between Larned Exit 1B to Jefferson Ave.
EB Jefferson Ave. between Griswold and Randolph
WB Jefferson Ave. between Randolph and Griswold
Road closure beginning at 7pm May 8th and ending at 5pm on May 12th
EB Jefferson Service Dr. closed at Washington Blvd.
Bates St. Pedestrian Bridge installation Friday, May 8th at 7pm through Monday, May 11th at 5pm
Road closures beginning at 7pm on May 8th and ending at 5pm on May 11th
Bates Street
Road closures beginning at 7pm on May 8th and ending at 5am on May 12th
EB Jefferson Service Dr. closed at Washington Blvd.
Single Right Lane and Right Shoulder Closure beginning at 5am on May 11th and ending at 5am on May 12th
EB Jefferson Ave. between M-10 to Bates St.
